The Old Firehouse Art Gallery is situated in the historic Northland town of Waipu, at number 7 The Braigh. An easy 1 hour and 20 minute drive North from the city of Auckland and just 30 minutes South from Whangarei. Waipu is sign posted from State Highway 1.If you are traveling North on SH 1, take the first signed Waipu turnoff. Conversely if travelling South, take the second signed Waipu turnoff on your left, this is Shoemaker road which will bring you to the Gallery in 30 seconds.
